About Our Founders

All America Freight was founded by Frank Vlachovsky and Helen Layton, who both have international backgrounds: Frank was born in Argentina while Helen was born in Guatemala and studied and lived in Newport Beach, CA. They have both ran and owned businesses internationally: Frank is a mechanical engineer and owned a plastics injection mold company in Southern California, and Helen worked in the banking and California real estate industries and owned high-end retail businesses in Central America.

Both recognized a key to their business success was having strong suppliers and freight forwarding logistics partners. Because inferior freight forwarders were a dime a dozen, the couple was driven to bring a level of strong operational support, along with a professional white-glove touch to a much-needed industry. They entered the freight forwarding business in 1996 with a commitment to offering first-class freight forwarding and logistics services to importers and exporters around the world.
